Perhaps, more than ever – before, in recent memory, many Americans perceive, this nation to be, not aligned with, the supposed – premise, of our Founding Fathers, with liberty and justice for all! It is challenging, to believe, everyone is treated equally, regardless of race, creed, color of their skin, and/ or, ethnicity, because, both, what we witness, and the data/ statistics, indicate, this isn’t true, regarding many aspects of our lives! It often seems, certain politicians, and citizens, prefer to selectively apply their freedoms, picking – and – choosing, which ones serve their best interests! Shouldn’t we demand, justice, freedom, and our rights, be FAIR to all? With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and why it matters.
1. Face facts; faithful; freedoms; future; fate: Denying reality, wrapping – oneself in the Flag, and putting one’s personal/ political agenda, and/ or, self – interest, ahead of the greater good, harms this nation! We need leaders who are ready, willing, and able, to face the facts, with an open – mind, and consistently, are faithful, to all our citizens, regardless of politics, and political affiliations! Freedoms lose their meaning, when applied selectively, because that behavior risks, endangering the future of those Constitutional principles and guarantees! We have the ability, to help control our fate, for the better, if we consider common sense, and overall – fairness!
2. Attitude; aptitude; attention; actions: If we proceeded, with a positive, can – do, attitude, focused on ensuring all our rights, and demanded, those we elect, have the aptitude, and skill – set, necessary, to make this nation, truly – great, we would pay attention, to being fair, to everyone, instead of only the elite! We need public officials, who, proactively, take the action, to ensure we restore these essential principles, and ideals!
3. Integrity; ideology; intents; inspire: It takes proceeding, with absolute integrity, instead of only, doing so, when convenient! Those, elected, must put America’s ideology, first, and their intentions, must be unifying, rather than creating additional polarization!
4. Realistic; relevant; responsive; responsible: Seeking better representation, is a necessary, realistic ideal, but, only, when we elect the appropriate people! We need relevant leaders, who consider ramifications, and aim for sustainable enhancements! This is the responsive, and responsible approach, and behavior!
Will you demand this nation prioritizes the concept of being, FAIR to all? Are you willing to make this nation, truer to its ideals, and ideology?
